Am I able to change or cancel my booking?
Yes, but please let us know as soon as you can (subject to availability). If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, we will not be able to issue a refund.
What would happen if I didn't go ahead with my appointment as planned?
If you cancelled or did not allow the pet sitting appointment to go ahead as planned without warning, you would lose any money you have paid. You may also be stopped from booking again in some cases.
What would happen if my pet became unwell or injured while with the pet sitter?
Ultimately, Luke would discuss this with you before taking on your pet. Luckily this is a very rare situation, but ideally the pet would be taken to the vet that it's registered with for any care or treatment.
When do I pay for the service?
This depends on what pet services you choose. Some packages would require a deposit upfront to secure the service, with the rest payable once the service is complete. Others would require complete payment upfront.
Can I trust Luke After My Pets?
Absolutely. Luke is fully qualified as a pet sitter, is DBS checked and regularly completes risk assessments. Your pets will be in the right hands, and Luke will always be prepared should anything go wrong.
Are you insured?
Yes. Luke has full Liability Insurance and has also had a DBS check. This can be seen on request.
Do you offer services on weekends and special days?
Pet services are offered on Bank Holidays at no extra cost. Pet services are sometimes offered on weekends, let us know what you need and we'll see what we can do. We don't offer services on Christmas Day or Boxing Day.
Do you work in bad weather?
Yes! Unless of course you don't want us to. In that case, a home visit could be offered instead, or we could rearrange.
